Series of drilling fluid manifolds are designed and manufactured as per China’s oil and gas industry standards SY/T5244-2006. The drilling fluid manifold is one of the main devices used in high pressure jet drilling, which can introduce the high-pressure mud from mud pumps into borehole to scavenge the bottom hole, carry out cuttings and cooperate with well cementing and other operations.
The drilling fluid manifold is mainly composed of the surface pipeline, the surface valve group,the crossover tee, the standpipe line, the standpipe valve group, the gooseneck, the rotary hose, and the pressure gauge. Pipelines are connected by high-pressure bispherical unions and the material adopts quenched and tempered high strength alloy steel. The whole structure of manifolds can realize fast handling and seal parts selects rubber o-rings. Each of pipe fittings and part elements in manifolds are subject to the strength test to ensure performance requirements.
Structural Features of whole set manifold:
The whole manifolds from the mud pump to the rotary hose includes four big parts: the surface valve group, the surface pipeline, the drill floor valve group and the standpipe line on the derrick.
Each of part elements in the whole set manifold is connected by spherical unions, with great interchangeability, quick removal and installation, and permission to tilt+-8degree in use. The surface pipeline and the standpipe line can be divided into several sections allowing the user to choose freely in use according to the actual situation at the well site.
